For over 20 years, Goodwill Industries of North Florida, Inc. has partnered with the federal government and SourceAmerica in the AbilityOne program to hire persons with documented disabilities to work in food service at Mayport Naval Station and Naval Air Station Jacksonville.  

Joniqua shares, “When I first started working here I did not drive. My sister and mom had to give me a ride to work or I had to catch an Uber. This job has helped me a lot because now I have my own car, Now I don’t have to ask for a ride and plus I pay half of rent for my house and I’m able to pay bills.”
