We are pleased to announce the annual Adam R. Thayer Scholarship in honor of our beloved colleague, Adam Thayer. Adam was the Director of Information Technology at Goodwill Industries of North Florida, when he unexpectedly passed away in February 2020. He was passionate about Goodwill’s mission to help remove barriers to employment. He was also a strong proponent of education, community service and helping others to succeed. Adam R. Thayer Scholarship Fund awards a $5,000 scholarship to a college-bound high school senior, or active Goodwill employee based on demonstrated academic achievement, financial need, and community service record.

The Adam R. Thayer Scholarship Fund awards a scholarship to a college-bound high school senior based on demonstrated academic achievement, financial need, and the community service record. The scholarship is now open to all majors.
The student eligible for assistance must be a current Goodwill employee or a graduating high school senior who intends to continue their education. Consideration will be given to academic achievement, financial need, and the student’s community service record. Applicants should submit a scholarship application on the form provided.
This scholarship is not renewable. Previous scholarship recipients cannot re-apply.
The scholarship recipient will be awarded a 1-time payment of $5,000.
